Summary

The Recruiter II plays a key role in shaping MedImpact's workforce by sourcing, attracting, and hiring exceptional talent. This role drives fullcycle recruiting strategies, delivers costeffective sourcing solutions, and ensures a positive, professional experience for every candidate and partner. As a brand ambassador for MedImpact and its affiliates, the role represents the organization with professionalism, curiosity, and a commitment to excellence. The role also manages assigned requisitions with a high degree of independence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Partner strategically with hiring leaders to understand business needs, define role requirements, and build tailored recruiting strategies across multiple business units.
  • Prioritize searches, identify top talent pipelines, and stay ahead of industry trends and sourcing technologies.
  • Build strong talent communities by serving as a visible company representative in the market.
  • Network with candidates, clients, academic institutions, and industry organizations; lead community and industry outreach programs; and represent MedImpact at job fairs, conferences, and professional events for the purpose of creating a talent pool of qualified candidates.
  • Accountable for the full recruitment lifecycle, including resume review, candidate screening and interviewing. Ensure every hire meets qualifications, quality standards, compensation guidelines, and organizational needs.
  • Extend offers, guide candidates through the process, and continuously refine sourcing strategies to reduce timetofill and improve hiring outcomes.
  • Manage key recruiting operations, including offer documentation, requisition processing, and accurate data entry in the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Support reporting needs and ensure compliance with all state and federal employment regulations.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the Talent Acquisition team, sharing best practices and partnering with internal training resources to deliver staffingrelated learning sessions.
  • Collaborate on compensation decisions using established Compensation Guidelines/Playbook, partnering with hiring managers, internal compensation experts, and HR Business Partners to ensure competitive, equitable, and compliant offers aligned with candidate experience, external benchmarks and internal guidelines.

This is an internal and external client facing position that requires excellent customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills (listening/verbal/written). Education and/or Experience

BS/BA and 3+ years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Computer Skills

Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), including the ability to build reports, dashboards and presentations that support recruiting metrics and hiring insights.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

None required.

Other Skills and Abilities

  • Proven experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Talent Management platforms; Workday strongly preferred. Ability to manage requisitions, workflows, and candidate pipelines with accuracy and speed.
  • Outstanding communication and relationship building skills
  • Proficiency with social media sourcing tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment, recruiting, and EEO regulations
  • Proven ability to close candidates within established timeframe and prioritize work accordingly.

Work Location

This position works on-site at the San Diego Headquarters or other company location (or from a remote location with management approval based on business requirements). Must provide adequate support to internal clients; be available for regular interactions and coordination of work with other employees, colleagues, clients, or vendors; as well as be available to facilitate effective decisions through collaboration with stakeholders.

Working Hours

This is an exempt level position requiring the incumbent to work the hours required to fully accomplish job responsibilities and reasonable meet deadlines for work deliverables. The individual must have the flexibility to work beyond traditional hours and be able to work nights, weekends or on holidays as required. Work hours may be changed from time to time to meet the needs of the business. Typical core business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

This position requires no travel however attendance maybe required at various local conferences and meetings.
