Job description

Job Title : Mainframe Network Engineer
Location : Phoenix AZ, Plano TX, Charlotte NC, Richmond VA, Jacksonville FL, Pennington NJ, Chicago ILa; hybrid working model
Duration : 6+ months Contract (with possible extension) 

Open to relocation

Over all 10+ years of experience and should be able to go onsite 3 days in any of the above location.  

Job Description

We are looking for a Mainframe Network Engineer with 5+ years of experience supporting IBM Mainframe network infrastructure environments.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain mainframe network connectivity and communication systems
  • Troubleshoot network-related issues in z/OS environments
  • Configure and monitor TCP/IP and related networking components
  • Work with infrastructure and application teams for issue resolution
  • Support system performance, security, and availability initiatives

 

Required Skills:

  • Experience with IBM Mainframe networking technologies
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP in z/OS environments
  • Troubleshooting and performance tuning experience
  • Good communication and analytical skills
