Contract Duration: 6-12+ Months (extendable)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Systems Engineer with strong expertise in Adabas/Natural (AG) and core z/OS systems engineer for a long-term contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in z/OS environment management, including installations, upgrades, security, storage, networking, and hardware configuration tools. This role involves supporting and enhancing critical mainframe infrastructure in a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • z/OS systems engineering/administration installs, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Install, upgrade, and support Adabas/Natural (AG) environment.
  • Administer RACF (Resource Access Control Facility) security.
  • Manage Storage, TCP/IP, HCD/IODF, and other OEM tools.
  • Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
  • Provide support for critical mainframe infrastructure.

Required Skills

  • Experience in Adabas/Natural (AG).
  • Core z/OS Systems Programming (installs & upgrades).
  • RACF (Resource Access Control Facility) administration.
