Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mailroom Clerk to join our Digital Solutions team. In this temporary role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient preparation, sorting, and scanning of tax documents to facilitate digital migration and data integrity. This position is a temporary assignment through peak tax season (approximately September 15, 2026 to October 30, 2026).

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

In this role, you will:

  • Process and Prepare: Prep, sort, and scan hard copy files to electronic images. This includes removing staples and ensuring documents are reassembled and sequenced correctly after scanning.

  • ​​ Maintain Quality: Follow production procedures for document quality control and document indexing, working at a sustained pace to meet production rates while producing quality work.

  • Support Operations: Complete internal documentation and tracking and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience: Proven ability to work in a production-based environment and accept changes and long durations of project assignments.

  • Attention to Detail: Strong ability to understand and demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Technical Aptitude: Basic computer knowledge and the ability to train on imaging processes for high-capacity scanning.

  • Communication: Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

  • Applicants selected for this position must meet eligibility requirements for access to customer information regulated by the ITAR. Only US Persons are eligible for this level clearance, hence for this position, Iron Mountain will consider only US Persons.

What We Offer:

  • Salary details: $16.00/hr.

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday from 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (not a flexible schedule).

  • Location: 3245 Platt Springs Rd West Columbia, SC (Not a remote position).
