1st shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm, 2nd shift: 4:00pm - 12:30am

(training will be on 1st shift for few weeks)

Position Summary:

The SMT Set-Up Operator is responsible for preparing and staging materials and equipment for SMT production, ensuring smooth and efficient machine operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and tear down component feeders for SMT pick-and-place machines

  • Stage feeders and materials for upcoming jobs

  • Assist operators with machine changeovers

  • Pull parts from stockroom and overflow locations based on pick lists

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 1+ year of SMT equipment experience preferred

  • Knowledge of electronic component identification

  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and data entry)

  • Familiarity with IPC SMT placement and soldering standards

  • Ability to read and understand assembly drawings
