Integrity Trade Services is IMMEDIATELY hiring for a Threader Machine operator position in Joliet, IL The company manufactures steel for construction companies
Duties and responsibilities
Role Summary:
The Threading Machine Operator is responsible for manufacturing parts per customer and industry specifications, while maintaining top quality standards.
Essential Responsibility:
  • Operate machinery in the production process.
  • Set up machinery as required.
  • Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Assist in the loading of raw materials to the production lines via overhead crane.
  • Transport raw materials on the property via overhead crane or forklift.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure production safety, efficiency and on time completion.
  • Assist in lifting, carrying and moving heavy loads as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to demonstrate solid written and oral communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle tasks with competing priorities effectively.
  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Detail-oriented, excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to operate a forklift.
  • Basic math skills.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

Preferred Requirements:
  • High school diploma/GED.

  • IL Paid Leave for All Workers
  • An employee that works in Illinois is entitled to accrue and use up to 40 hours of paid leave during a 12 month period or a pro rata number of hours of paid leave under the provisions of the State of Illinois Paid Leave for All Workers Act. The 12 month accrual period is considered to begin for new employees on the employees first day of employment. An employee is entitled to begin using earned and accrued paid leave time 90 calendar days after commencement of employment. Paid leave under this Act shall accrue at the rate of one hour of paid leave for every 40 hours worked up to 40 hours of paid leave
  • 401(k) with company match for eligible employees.
Eligibility: Active employees with one year of work and during that one year has completed 1,000 hours of service and is at least 21 years of age. Entry dates into the 401(k) are: 1/1 or 7/1 following the one year of service and completing 1,000 hours of work.
The company will match 100% of the first 3% of the employee contribution. As well as, match 50% of the next 2% of the employee contribution. (The company contribution/match maximum is 4%)
