Job Description

This role involves preparing and cooking high-quality meals while maintaining strict food safety standards and delivering an exceptional dining experience for employees and guests. The cook works in a fast-paced kitchen environment, follows recipes and production schedules consistently, and collaborates closely with team members to ensure smooth service.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and production schedules.
  • Set up and stock cooking stations with all necessary supplies, ingredients, and equipment before service.
  • Grill, sauté, roast, fry, and assemble food items as required for daily menus and special requests.
  • Ensure food quality, presentation, taste, and portion control standards are consistently met.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations at all times.
  • Monitor food inventory levels and promptly notify management of shortages or low stock.
  • Properly store food products and rotate stock using FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures to minimize waste.
  • Assist with receiving deliveries, verifying quantities and quality, and stocking inventory in designated areas.
  • Support dishwashing and cleaning tasks as needed to keep the kitchen and service areas clean and functional.
