Legal Administrative Assistant (Temp-to-Hire)
Location: Houston, TX Schedule: Full-Time | Initially Onsite with Potential Hybrid Flexibility After Training
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a highly respected law firm in Houston to identify a detail-oriented and technology-savvy Legal Administrative Assistant for an immediate temp-to-hire opportunity. This position offers the opportunity to join a collaborative legal team while gaining exposure to a variety of legal administrative functions and law firm operations.
Position Overview
The firm is seeking a professional administrative support specialist who can provide high-level assistance to attorneys and legal staff while quickly adapting to new technology and internal systems. This role is heavily administrative in nature and is ideal for candidates who are organized, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced legal environment.
While previous law firm experience is preferred, the client is open to candidates with strong administrative support backgrounds and the ability to learn legal workflows, terminology, and software platforms.
Key Responsibilities
  • Process attorney expense reimbursements and related documentation.
  • Assist with attorney time entry and billing support.
  • Open and maintain new client matters.
  • Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal staff.
  • Coordinate legal and client correspondence.
  • Manage calendars, scheduling, and document organization.
  • Learn and utilize various law firm software systems.
  • Assist with office operations and special projects as assigned.
  • Support daily workflow management and attorney administrative needs.
Qualifications
Required
  • Strong administrative support experience.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Advanced computer skills with the ability to learn new technology quickly.
