Description:

The Legal Recruiter at Hall & Evans, LLC is responsible for sourcing and recruiting candidates for various positions throughout the Firm. Staffing needs include temporary needs, growth positions, replacement hiring for attorneys, paralegals, Legal Assistants, professional staff, administrative support, and law clerk positions for all locations. 


Must reside within commuting distance to downtown Denver.

Requirements:
  • Analyze hiring needs, determine the best-recruiting methods, and implement a talent acquisition process that attracts qualified candidates for the open position(s).
  • Manage several requisitions simultaneously with drive, follow-through, and creativity.
  • Sourcing candidates using social media platforms, utilizing web-based search engines and temporary agencies (as needed), and representing the Firm with local college campus recruitment fairs.
  • Partners with hiring managers at all levels to determine hiring needs, conduct interviews, and make hiring decisions.
  • Build the talent pipeline across cross-functional teams by sourcing passive candidates, placing calls, pre-screening applicants, and leveraging internal referrals.
  • Manage the interview process by screening resumes and partnering with practice area Members on candidate selection for interviews and hiring selection.
  • With the HR Team, create and facilitate an internal training session for legal interviewing questions and protocols for existing and new interviewers involved in team interviews
  • Support and assist with scheduling candidates for interviews.
  • Recommend and facilitate processes for checking pre-employment references, employment verification, and background search efforts.
  • Capture candidate's current total compensation for utilization in offer recommendations sent to the Chief Operating & Financial Officer for approval to hire.
  • Drive the offer and onboarding process with the candidate externally and internally.
  • With the HR Team, assist in facilitating the new hire onboarding experience.
  • Participate in recruitment events by developing relationships with local resources such as non-profits who assist candidates with careers, job centers, local diversity bars, etc.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the Firm’s participation in law clerk and Pledge to Diversity internship programs and opportunities.
  • Participate in local bar associations for recruitment purposes where available.
  • Maintains a comprehensive job description library for all active positions.
  • Partnering with the HR Director in maintaining current salary data for all positions.
  • Participates in annual industry compensation and benefits surveys.
  • Share with HR Director and Chief Operating and Financial Officer analysis on annual compensation data and recommend changes based on industry practice to remain competitive and to retain talent once hired.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience, law firm experience a plus.
  • Bachelor's  degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience working with C-Suite level leadership team.
  • Excellent working knowledge of all state and federal laws governing all aspects of talent acquisition.
  • Ability to work well in a team while also handling individual responsibilities.

The hiring range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 annually.
