SummaryThe Warehouse Worker II supports distribution operations by processing customer orders and performing shipping activities to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products. This role involves scanning and sorting shipments, completing required documentation, and safely loading orders for final delivery. The position works closely with warehouse teams to maintain efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with established procedures.
Responsibilities- Process customer orders daily to meet delivery and quality expectations.
- Perform warehouse activities including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping, with primary responsibility for the Shipping department.
- Scan and sort shipments in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Complete documentation requirements for hazardous materials shipments.
- Move and stage orders to designated pallet locations and trailers for departure.
- Support safe, secure, and accurate loading of customer orders onto trailers.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and proper shipment identification.
- Follow all safety guidelines and warehouse procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Perform additional duties assigned by management.
Required Skills- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in distribution, warehouse, supply chain, or a related field.
- Experience operating powered industrial trucks (order pickers, cherry pickers, reach trucks, or stand-up forklifts).
- Experience using electric pallet jacks (riding or walking).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Ability to stand and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods, including walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
