Job description

Job Summary:
The Warehouse General Labor/Dock Worker on the first shift will be responsible for unloading freight, sorting and organizing materials, and operating material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This position will report directly to the Supervisor or Site Manager and work on tasks directed by Operations Management.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of previous warehouse experience preferred
- 6 months of Generla Warehouse Experince a plus
- Ability to work in a physically demanding warehouse environment, lifting and moving up to 75lbs continuously
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Must be 18 years old
Responsibilities:
- Unload and break down freight onto pallets in compliance with procedures and productivity goals
- Sort and organize freight by PO# and SKU#
- Operate material handling equipment as needed
- Perform tasks such as sorting, repacking, labeling, and pallet repair
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of the job, the employee will be required to use hands, reach, stand, walk, and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities are needed, and the ability to adjust to physical demands is essential.
