Social Media & PR Manager (MLOA coverage 6-month temporary position) Job ID 2023-01603

Marketing/Brand Management Stamford, Connecticut

We are seeking a high-impact, hands-on Social Media & PR Manager to lead how Cuisinart shows up across organic social, influencer marketing, and earned media.

This role sits at the intersection of brand storytelling, culture, and commerce, responsible for translating product innovation and key business moments into compelling narratives that drive engagement, visibility, and conversion.

You will lead day-to-day execution while shaping strategy—partnering across teams and managing agency relationships to deliver seamless, high-performing programs that strengthen brand equity and accelerate growth.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy & Execution (Owned Channels)

  • Lead development and execution of the social content calendar, ensuring alignment with product launches, retail priorities, and seasonal moments
  • Deliver consistent, premium brand storytelling across platforms, maintaining voice, tone, and visual identity
  • Drive always‑on engagement through community management, partnerships, and recurring activations (e.g., contests, collaborations)
  • Optimize content effectiveness through strong product linking strategy, informed by distribution, ratings, and reviews
  • Oversee and approve user‑generated content (UGC), ensuring compliance and brand alignment

Influencer & Creator Marketing

  • Build and execute influencer strategies that amplify priority launches and key commercial initiatives
  • Identify and activate creators across tiers (macro to niche), ensuring strong audience alignment and content quality
  • Develop clear campaign briefs with defined deliverables, timelines, and performance KPIs
  • Lead content review and approvals to ensure accuracy, consistency, and impact
  • Partner with retail teams (Amazon, Target, Costco) to deploy creator‑led programs that support sell‑through
  • Manage influencer product seeding and maintain an organized, scalable content asset library

Public Relations & Earned Media

  • Lead PR planning and execution, including press releases, media outreach, and product sampling programs
  • Align PR timing with innovation pipelines, marketing campaigns, and retailer strategies
  • Identify and activate real‑time and cultural opportunities to elevate brand relevance
  • Oversee product placement opportunities across entertainment and media
  • Monitor brand sentiment using social listening tools; proactively flag risks and identify opportunities
  • Support retail media integration by aligning editorial storytelling with key selling periods
  • Deliver monthly earned media reporting with actionable insights

Cross Functional Leadership & Agency Management

  • Lead and manage social and PR agencies, ensuring high‑quality execution and continuous optimization
  • Partner closely with Brand, Creative, eCommerce, Trade, and Retail Media teams to deliver integrated programs
  • Develop clear, compelling presentations showcasing performance, insights, and strategic recommendations
  • Ensure operational excellence through strong planning, communication, and on‑time delivery across initiatives.

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistent delivery of on‑brand, high‑performing social and PR programs
  • Strong creator partnerships that drive both engagement and retail impact
  • Seamless integration across brand, retail, and media strategies
  • Elevated brand presence in culture through timely, relevant storytelling
  • Clear, actionable reporting that demonstrates business impact

Qualifications/skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience across social media, influencer marketing, and/or public relations
  • Deep understanding of key platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Meta, Reddit) and emerging channels
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast‑paced environment
  • Experience leading agencies and working cross‑functionally
  • Strong project management, communication, and storytelling skills
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on performance and outcomes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with tools like Sprout Social and Monday.com is a plus

This is a unique opportunity to step into a high‑visibility role and help shape how one of the most iconic kitchen brands connects with today’s consumer.

You won’t just execute campaigns, you’ll help define the future of modern, culturally relevant marketing at scale.
