ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor for a temporary assignment to lead warehouse and logistics operations in Jacksonville, Florida or Conroe, Texas. In this role, you will oversee daily warehouse activities, lead a team of logistics and material handlers, and ensure the efficient receiving, storage, staging, and distribution of high-value equipment (servers, networking gear, power and cooling systems, and other critical infrastructure). You will drive safety, accuracy, productivity, and process improvements in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This is a temporary position ideal for a strong leader with warehouse supervision experience who can quickly establish operational excellence and support aggressive project timelines. Contracts may include the possibility of extension based on business needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead, coach, and supervise a team of warehouse associates, logistics specialists, and material handlers
  • Oversee all warehouse operations including receiving, inspection, put-away, picking, kitting, staging, shipping, and inventory control
  • Ensure high inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and timely system updates in ERP/WMS
  • Monitor and optimize material flow to support construction and data center operations, including just-in-time delivery
  • Enforce safety protocols, conduct safety meetings, and maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment
  • Track performance metrics (on-time delivery, accuracy, productivity) and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate with procurement, carriers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and meet schedules
  • Manage inbound and outbound logistics, returns, and reverse logistics for high-value and sensitive equipment
  • Provide hands-on support during peak periods, including extended hours or weekends as needed
  • Conduct performance feedback, training, and corrective action as required
  • Report on warehouse KPIs and escalate risks or bottlenecks to leadership
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 4+ years of warehouse or logistics experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or lead role
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse best practices, inventory management, and safety standards (OSHA)
  • Experience with ERP/WMS systems and Microsoft Office/Google Suite (especially Excel/Sheets)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and perform physical tasks in a warehouse or data center environment
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to work onsite in Jacksonville, FL or Conroe, TX with flexibility for extended hours
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Background in data center, hyperscale, manufacturing, or technology supply chain environments
  • Forklift certification and experience with material handling equipment
  • Familiarity with TMS or advanced logistics tracking tools
  • Lean/Six Sigma experience or other process improvement certifications
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • This is a temporary position
  • Comfortable working in environments with noise and varying temperatures
