Job description

Connect Staffing is hiring an Inventory Control Coordinator with a forklift certification for a warehouse facility in Spartanburg, SC. This is a temp-to-hire position paying $18.00/hr on a Monday-Friday day shift. In this role, you will perform cycle counts, reconcile inventory discrepancies in an ERP system, and pick and kit inventory for transfer and assembly orders. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule with overtime available as needed.
Pay: $18.00/hr
Schedule: Mon - Fri, 7:00 AM - 3:45 PM, with overtime as needed

Responsibilities
  • Perform cycle counts and physical inventory verification using an ERP system to maintain accurate daily counts.
  • Record, adjust, and reconcile inventory discrepancies - including low-level quantity adjustments and reporting of theft, loss, or damage.
  • Pick and kit inventory to fulfill transfer orders and assembly orders.
  • Process inventory movements in the ERP system for reconciliation and planning purposes.
  • Report daily metrics related to inventory counts and warehouse operations.
  • Support the quality team with material review board inventory movements and documentation.

Minimum Requirements
  • 6+ months of experience in inventory control, cycle counting, or warehouse operations.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory control, cycle counting, or warehouse operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for compiling reports and tracking inventory data.
  • Experience processing transfer orders, assembly orders, or shipping and receiving in an ERP or WMS platform.
  • Familiarity with basic inventory math, adjustments, and discrepancy reporting.
  • Experience working alongside quality or production teams in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Experience using an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, warehouse management system (WMS) (Warehouse Management System), or similar inventory software.
