Job description

What We Do:

We offer youth in-home counseling services that are tailored to their specific needs. Our licensed counselors are here to help children/adolescents navigate through life's challenges. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, behavior, or relationship issues, we're here to support all of our cleints.

Services are provided in the youth’s home or in the community. Through these services we address complex needs and challenging behaviors of youth including but not limited to: anger, elopement, property destruction, increased aggression, self-injurious behaviors, and suicidal ideations. These services are provided as part of an approved intensive person centered approach and clients are referred via the children's system of care and it's affiliates.

Responsibilities:

- Provide direct therapy and support to youth/adolescents including individuals with developmental disabilities

- Implement behavioral therapy techniques and strategies to promote positive behavior change

- Conduct individual and/or family counseling sessions

- Participate in CFT meetings

- Collect, analyze , and document data on client progress and behavior

- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans

- Assist with medical documentation and record keeping

- Monitor and document client behaviors and responses to interventions

- Provide support during crisis situations, utilizing conflict management techniques

-Must be able to complete background check

Skills:

- Experience working with youth/adolescents, individuals with developmental disabilities, or related populations

- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles

- Ability to collect and analyze data for treatment planning purposes

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to maintain confidentiality of client information

- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
