Key Responsibilities

  • Build meaningful relationships with a select patient panel.
  • Conduct thorough intake and clinical assessments without rushing.
  • Work closely with our physician in a true collaborative partnership during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring a comfortable and efficient environment.
  • Assist with and coordinate advanced diagnostic and preventive testing.
  • Manage patient records by accurately inputting information into electronic health records (EHR) and maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Coordinate comprehensive care plans and follow up with patients personally.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact, responding to patient needs with care and attention.
  • Apply expanded clinical skills in a thoughtful, patient-centered environment.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited medical assistant program.?
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
  • Phlebotomy experience?
  • Two years of related medical experience (EKG, injections, vitals, triage, etc.)?
  • Two years of knowledge in examination, diagnostic, and treatment room procedures?
  • Two years of knowledge in medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care?
  • Two years of OSHA and HIPAA compliance?

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a clinical setting, particularly in outpatient practices.?
  • Familiarity with specific EMR systems (e.g., EPIC, Athena).?
  • Experience with patient education and health promotion.?
