Location: 14509 E 33rd Place Unit A, Aurora, CO 80011
Position Summary
Active Play Solutions is seeking a dependable, safety-minded Temporary General Laborer to support daily manufacturing and warehouse operations. This position will work closely with the Production Manager and assist wherever needed to keep production organized, efficient, and on schedule.
Responsibilities may include operating a saw to cut pipe and other materials, moving and organizing inventory, preparing materials for production, maintaining clean work areas, and performing a variety of general warehouse and production duties.
This is a full-time temporary position intended to provide operational support while Active Play Solutions hires and staffs additional warehouse roles. The duration of the assignment will depend on business and staffing needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate saws and other basic production equipment to cut pipe and materials according to provided measurements and instructions.
  • Follow all equipment-operating procedures and required safety practices.
  • Assist the Production Manager with daily production and warehouse priorities.
  • Gather, measure, prepare, and stage materials for production.
  • Load, unload, move, and organize materials, products, and supplies.
  • Assist with receiving, inventory organization, and order preparation as assigned.
  • Maintain clean, orderly, and hazard-free production and warehouse areas.
  • Properly use required personal protective equipment.
  • Inspect materials and completed work for obvious defects or measurement errors.
  • Report damaged equipment, unsafe conditions, material shortages, and production concerns to the Production Manager.
  • Perform other general labor, warehouse, assembly, and production duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Prior warehouse, manufacturing, construction, assembly, or general labor experience is preferred but not required.
  • Experience safely operating saws, power tools, or production equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and follow basic measurements and work instructions.
  • Willingness and ability to learn equipment-operating and safety procedures.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to follow directions, communicate clearly, and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to safety, quality, and accuracy.
  • Ability to remain productive while priorities and assignments change throughout the workday.

Physical Requirements
The employee must be able to perform the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, including:
  • Standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Frequently bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and using hands to handle tools and materials.
  • Regularly lifting and carrying materials weighing up to [50] pounds.
