Introduction
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Administrator to support the Human Resources team in delivering efficient HR services. The HR Administrator will assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, payroll support, and compliance with company policies and employment legislation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, maintains confidentiality, and has excellent communication and administrative skills.
This position will be 6-12 weeks, up to 40 hours per week, and $25.00/hr.
Job Overview
The HR Administrator supports the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department by maintaining employee records, coordinating recruitment and onboarding, administering HR processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
Core Functions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including posting job advertisements, resume review, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Facilitate new employee onboarding and orientation.
  • Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and other HR documentation.
  • Assist with benefit administration, including processing wellness forms, completing qualifying life events, and responding to routine benefit questions
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
  • Generate HR reports and maintain HR metrics as requested.
  • Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department.
  • Other duties as assigned
Competencies and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • 1-3 years of experience in an HR or administrative role preferred.
  • Knowledge of HR practices, employment legislation, and HR administration.
  • Experience using HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). ExponentHR a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of confidentiality and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
