Job description

Temporary HR Coordinator LHH Recruitment is working with a company in the West Valley who is in search of a temporary HR coordinator. This role is project based, expected to last several months. The use of UKG Pro is crucial and is required for this position. The schedule is fully onsite, Monday-Friday and the hourly rate is up to $40/hr.
This role is ideal for someone who has strong UKG Pro experience and enjoys working with employee data, audits, reporting, and payroll support in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and support HR data cleanup and audit projects to ensure employee records are complete, accurate, and compliant
  • Perform audits of employee files, HRIS records, payroll data, and organizational information, researching and correcting discrepancies as needed
  • Enter and maintain employee payroll data in UKG Pro, including new hires, status changes, pay rate updates, transfers, and terminations
  • Generate and analyze HR and payroll reports for leadership, identifying trends and ensuring data integrity
  • Partner with Payroll and HR teams to validate employee information prior to payroll processing
  • Assist with HRIS maintenance, data validation, and system updates during ongoing projects
  • Support compliance initiatives by auditing I-9s, personnel files, and required HR documentation
  • Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and project trackers using Excel to monitor project progress and data accuracy
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline HR and payroll workflows
  • Provide administrative support for special HR projects and other departmental initiatives as assigned
Qualifications
  • REQUIRED: Recent hands-on experience using UKG Pro
  • 2+ years of Human Resources, HRIS, or HR Coordinator experience
  • Experience auditing HR and payroll data for accuracy and compliance
  • Strong payroll data entry experience within an HRIS system
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including reporting and data analysis
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with confidential information
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment
