Job description

Holy Cross Hospital is looking for a compassionate, dedicated and energetic Registry Inpatient Speech language Pathologist to join our highly trained and respected therapy team.
Holy Cross Hospital is a 160 bed, general medical, not-for-profit, hospital located in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood of south side, Chicago. Holy Cross is a proud member of Sinai Chicago.
The speech and language pathologist (SLP) provides diagnostic and therapeutic intervention for speech, language, voice, swallowing and fluency disorders and functions as an integral member of the rehabilitation team. The SLP provides age and developmentally appropriate evaluation and treatment to the English and Spanish speaking, adult patients. At least one year of hospital-based experience is preferred.
Our rehabilitation team takes a holistic, interdisciplinary approach to address the physical, cognitive and psychosocial needs of each patient. Each patient is assessed and provided with a personalized care plan tailored to help achieve maximal independence and function.
Up to $57.50/hour)
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS:
• Active State of Illinois SLP license or a Temporary SLP License issued by IDFPR
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech language Pathology
• Active BLS certification
