Job Title

Johns Hopkins Intrastaff is the internal staffing agency for the Johns Hopkins Health System and partner hospitals, providing temporary support to a variety of the Johns Hopkins locations. Our employees are the strength of our service. Directly or indirectly, you will have exposure to cutting-edge technology and groundbreaking medical research.

The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Bayview Medical Center, and Howard County Medical Center are the 3 main locations staffed. No weekend or holiday commitments. Request is 2 shifts per 6 weeks worked; however, 6 months without working 1 shift results in termination. Able to switch into contract with Intrastaff if desired for higher rate.

$45-55/hr

Responsibilities

Facilitating and coordinating care by providing evidence-based care based on the nursing process, policies, procedures, and protocols of the Johns Hopkins Health System.

Providing direction to/management of other team members to promote quality, safety, and excellence in care.

Working collaboratively with, and providing leadership for, a multidisciplinary health care team to support program initiatives that support quality, safety, and excellence in care.

Participating in promoting improvement initiatives (clinical, financial, operational) that supports, protects, and promotes area of specialty.

Implementing initiatives in area of specialty as directed by nursing and medical leadership.

Fostering a clinical environment of service excellence.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, 1 year recent experience in specialty to be worked-BLS certification (AHA required), ACLS preferred in ICU/IMC/procedural areas-Current registered nurse license in the state of Maryland, or licensed in a compact state
