Job description

Position Summary
Verity Integrated Systems is seeking an experienced Electrical & Avionics Integration Engineer to support the development, integration, and testing of advanced aerospace and defense systems. The successful candidate will serve as a key member of a multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for integrating avionics, electrical subsystems, sensors, telemetry, communications, and flight hardware into complex prototype and operational systems.
This position requires a hands-on engineer who can work across system design, hardware integration, troubleshooting, and test activities while collaborating closely with systems engineering, software, GNC, mechanical integration, and mission assurance teams.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain electrical architectures, interface definitions, and integration plans.
  • Design, analyze, and document electrical and avionics system interfaces.
  • Support selection, integration, and testing of avionics hardware, sensors, flight computers, communication systems, and telemetry equipment.
  • Develop wiring diagrams, harness documentation, and electrical integration packages.
  • Support hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) and software-in-the-loop (SWIL) testing activities.
  • Participate in system integration, troubleshooting, and root-cause investigations.
  • Support environmental, functional, qualification, and acceptance testing.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers on avionics and electrical subsystem integration.
  • Develop and review test procedures, verification plans, and technical documentation.
  • Support technical reviews including SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, and FRR activities.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Experience integrating avionics and electrical systems in aerospace, missile, aviation, space, or defense programs.
  • Familiarity with electrical schematics, interface control documents, and system integration processes.
  • Experience supporting system testing and troubleshooting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced development environment.
Desired Qualifications
  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Experience with telemetry, flight computers, inertial navigation systems, GPS receivers, and communications equipment.
  • Experience with missile, hypersonic, launch vehicle, or aerospace programs.
  • Familiarity with MBSE, requirements management, and configuration management processes.
  • Experience supporting HWIL laboratories and flight test programs.
