Job description

Candidates must have the following to qualify
  • Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Controls Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field from an ABET accredited institution.
  • Experience developing robotic systems from the ground up and creating robot programs from start to finish.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience programming and commissioning 6-axis industrial robots in a production environment (FANUC strongly preferred).
  • Proficiency in FANUC robot programming (TP, iPendant) and experience with ROBOGUIDE or equivalent 3D simulation suite.
  • Experience integrating robots with PLC-based control systems, safety circuits, and industrial networks.
  • Willingness to develop and contribute beyond core expertise in areas applicable to automation and robotics projects.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites for installation, commissioning, and support as needed.

Must be able to convey and demonstrate the following skills & competencies
  • Demonstrates deep technical expertise and the confidence to engage customers as a peer. Able to constructively challenge assumptions, offer alternative solutions, and contribute meaningfully to technical decisions while maintaining professionalism, respect, and a collaborative tone.
  • Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills for complex electromechanical systems.
  • Clear, structured communication-able to work closely with mechanical, electrical, controls, and software teams as well as customers and operators.
  • English language proficiency in oral and written communication.
  • Self-directed, comfortable in plant environments and under startup deadlines; strong sense of ownership for cell performance and uptime.

Up to 50% travel is required for approximately the first 6 to 9 months. Up to 25% travel after this period.
Location: Gainesville, GA or Springdale/Rogers, AR with willingness to relocate to Gainesville, GA in the future.
