Job description

Our teams provide best-in-class marketing solutions across a range of services including integrated paid, owned, and earned media, creative solutions, and strategic consulting.
National Publicity Team
Allied Global Marketing's National Publicity Team is seeking a part-time Publicity employee based in Las Vegas to support account leads across local and national client initiatives. This hourly part-time role is anticipated to last approximately three months and average 20-25 hours per week. The employee will assist with publicity execution, including weekly and monthly reporting, press material development, media and influencer outreach, client and internal calls, and on-site staffing as needed. Candidates must be based in the Las Vegas market and have strong local, regional, and national media relationships, excellent writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
Reporting & Account Support
  • Develop weekly clip reports for client initiatives.
  • Support team members in preparing monthly client reports.
  • Assist client leads with day-to-day client-facing publicity needs.
  • Participate in internal and client calls as needed.

Media Relations & Outreach
  • Support media and influencer outreach for client initiatives.
  • Help secure local, regional, and national coverage.
  • Maintain organized outreach trackers and media lists.

Writing & Press Materials
  • Draft and edit press releases, media alerts, pitches, and briefing documents.
  • Ensure materials follow AP Style and client-approved messaging.
  • Draft briefing documents for interview opportunities
  • Familiarity of, and history with, various Large Language Models (AI Tools)

Staffing & Event Support
  • Staff broadcast/virtual interviews, photo shoots, press opportunities, and events as needed.
  • Support occasional evening or weekend assignments tied to client initiatives.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or journalism preferred
  • 3+ years of professional experience in an agency and/or corporate setting, preferably in public relations with relevant experience within the hospitality and entertainment industries.
  • Strong media and influencer contacts in and surrounding areas
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Enthusiastic and service-oriented
  • Comfort in working remotely
  • Understanding and consistent application of AP Style with a proven ability to write clearly, accurately, and professionally
  • Passionate writer with strong journalistic instincts and a keen understanding of how to craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated success in media pitching with a record of securing placements in top outlets
  • Strong understanding of the ever-changing media landscape, including traditional press, online publications, and influencer-driven platforms
  • Independent, creative self-starter
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage and execute multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work well with others on both the staff and client side
  • Professional experience and personal interest in the hospitality and entertainment industries are preferred
  • Flexible schedule allowing some work on nights and weekends as needed
  • Tech Savvy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, Apple's suite of products, and general knowledge of AI tools preferred
