Granite City Food & Brewing -- Seasonal/Temporary Hiring (Early May--Mid July)
Overview
Granite City Food & Brewing is hiring seasonal staff to support increased service during the nearby World Cup events. Short-term positions available: Cook, Host, Server. Seasonal assignments run from early May through mid-July. Ideal candidates are customer-focused, reliable, and able to work a fast-paced, team-oriented shift schedule including nights and weekends.
General Requirements (all roles)
- Availability from early May through mid July; flexible to work evenings, weekends, and event days.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, strong communication, and teamwork.
- Valid work authorization.
- Food handlers permit or willingness to obtain one if required by local regulations (employer assistance offered where applicable).
- Background checks may be required.
Position: Cook (Line Cook / Prep Cook)
Primary responsibilities
- Prepare menu items to recipe and quality standards during service and prep shifts.
- Maintain station organization, food safety, and proper portioning.
