Job description

The Research Interviewer is responsible for collecting patient and participant information in accordance with established research protocols. This role involves conducting structured interviews, gathering data at designated locations, and ensuring the accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of all collected information. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to changing research priorities and workloads.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Conduct patient and participant interviews following established research protocols and procedures.
  • Solicit and record sensitive or confidential information while maintaining participant trust and confidentiality.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in managing a changing workload based on study needs and protocol adjustments.
  • Recruit and screen new study subjects according to inclusion and exclusion criteria.
  • Compile, organize, and transfer collected data into required report formats or study databases.
  • Communicate effectively with study coordinators, investigators, and other research staff regarding progress and findings.
  • Conduct presentations or informational sessions to recruit participants or share research information with groups.
  • Ensure compliance with all institutional, state, and federal research regulations, including ethical standards for human subjects.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the success of the research project.

Candidates have the option to work one of the following schedules:
Day Shift: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Evening Shift: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Saturday Shift: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Pay Rate:
$15.00 per hour for English-speaking candidates
$17.00 per hour for Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish)
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in a health-related or social science field preferred.
Prior experience conducting interviews, surveys, or data collection preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and documentation skills.
Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
