Job description


The Lanai Ocean Experiences Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless functioning of the our Lanai Ocean Experiences department. This position involves handling administrative tasks, maintaining detailed records, and coordinating communication effectively to uphold the Lanai Ocean Experiences standards, regulatory compliance, and overall efficiency.
Compensation:
$22.00-$25.00/hour (non-exempt).
This is a temporary Full Time position.
Reporting Relationship:
Reports to: Director of Lanai Ocean Experiences, Operations Manager/Chief Port Engineer

Responsibilities
Essential Duties
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all LOE activities.
  • Input data into database software, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
  • Communication: Collaborate with LOE managers, supervisors, and other relevant stakeholders to gather and verify data, resolve discrepancies, and address any data-related issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of data entry procedures, guidelines, and protocols to ensure consistency and standardization.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data entry processes, enhance data accuracy, and improve overall system efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Qualification/Requirements:
  • 1 to 2 years of work experience in office clerical work, preferred.
  • Must be proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Requires excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
  • Requires relating to people in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Requires working to established procedures and maintain reliable work attendance.
  • Requires the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Must be able to maintain a positive attitude and work under pressure.

Required Work Cards/Certifications:
  • Valid Hawaii Driver's License and successful review of Motor Vehicle Record

Physical Requirements:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and listen.
