Description
As an Electrical Engineer at CDG Engineers, you will be a key player in developing innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges. You will work independently and as part of a team to design and implement electrical systems for a variety of industries, including power utilities, renewable energy, and heavy industrial. Your ability to learn new technologies quickly and your commitment to quality will be essential to your success in this role.
This is a hybrid role for an Electrical Engineer at CDG Engineers working in our St. Louis, MO (HQ) office location.
Who You Are: You ask the right questions to accurately analyze situations. You acquire data from multiple and diverse sources when solving problems. You uncover root causes to difficult problems. You evaluate pros and cons, risks and benefits of different solution options.
Requirements for the role:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 3+ years (minimum) of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in any core area of:
    • T&D Substation design
    • Renewable Energy - Solar, BESS, Electrification
    • Power Engineering with a focus on heavy industrial systems
    • System Relaying
  • Working ability with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design tools preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SKM, ETAP, or similar electrical modeling software preferred.
  • Working knowledge of electric utility industry and environmental issues

Preferred requirements:
  • PE license
