Job Title: AWS Network Engineer
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a AWS Network Engineer to join our client in a role that supports key business operations and contributes to important organizational initiatives. This Hybrid opportunity in Newark, DE offers the chance to work across both cloud and on premises environments while helping maintain reliable, secure, and scalable technology solutions. The position involves collaboration with technical teams and business stakeholders to enhance infrastructure performance, support strategic projects, and strengthen operational efficiency. Ideal candidates bring strong cloud expertise, advanced networking knowledge, and a proactive approach to problem solving in complex environments.
Compensation:
$40.00 to $45.00+/hour, based on experience
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Hybrid schedule with onsite work Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
Key Responsibilities of the AWS Network Engineer:

  • Oversee the administration, support, and optimization of cloud based infrastructure while ensuring reliable performance, availability, and security across enterprise systems.
  • Analyze and resolve infrastructure, networking, and system related issues across Windows and Linux platforms to support business continuity and operational goals.
  • Coordinate technology deployments, upgrades, and maintenance activities within both cloud and on premises environments while adhering to established governance practices.
  • Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support materials while assisting with compliance reviews, audits, and change management activities.
  • Guide infrastructure improvement efforts through automation, monitoring enhancements, configuration management practices, and collaboration with stakeholders on implementation strategies.

Qualifications and Skills for the AWS Network Engineer:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or a related technology support role with significant exposure to cloud environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise managing AWS infrastructure, including cloud networking components such as virtual networks, dedicated connectivity solutions, load balancing technologies, and gateway services.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, routing, firewall management, subnet design, and network troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Experience supporting both Windows and Linux operating systems, including at least 2 years of Windows Server administration experience.
