Summary: 
 
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer (Level 3) to support the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical systems within an industrial environment. This role involves hands-on engineering, project management, troubleshooting, and compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will collaborate across multiple functions to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
 
Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed electrical design for small to mid-scale projects, including load calculations, short circuit analysis, voltage drop calculations, and coordination studies
  • Conduct design reviews for large-scale projects to ensure system compatibility, compliance, and constructability
  • Review and approve electrical, security, fire alarm, data/telecom, and instrumentation & control drawings
  • Provide field support, inspection, and guidance during installation and implementation phases
  • Lead and manage electrical engineering projects, including planning, execution, and delivery
  • Troubleshoot power quality and electrical system issues in collaboration with maintenance teams
  • Identify, scope, and implement energy conservation and efficiency improvement projects
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on utility systems, identifying bottlenecks and recommending corrective actions
  • Provide technical support for operational issues and maintenance activities
  • Support Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) initiatives, including permit applications
  • Review and approve changes to electrical drawings and change records impacting validated systems
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers or cross-functional team members as needed
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering
  • EIT (Engineer in Training) or PE (Professional Engineer) certification preferred
  • Knowledge of industrial standards, electrical codes, and construction practices
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams and ladder logic drawings
  • Knowledge of project lifecycle (design through commissioning/validation)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
  • High attention to detail with a focus on safety and compliance
  • Ability to work in a 24/7 manufacturing environment across diverse settings, including office spaces, plants, clean rooms, laboratories, warehouses, rooftops, and outdoor areas
  • Physical capability to sit, stand, walk, and climb stairs, ladders, or scaffolding as needed
  • Willingness to comply with clean room gowning requirements
