Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach and be eager to contribute to the testing and debugging of assemblies. This role involves working closely with leadership and Test Engineers to ensure efficient processes and high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform debugging and testing of assemblies to the component level using block diagrams and schematics.
  • Maintain and upkeep testing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot operator issues, collaborate with leadership on training, and recommend process improvements.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to Test operators.
  • Communicate issues to Test Engineers or leadership.
  • Assist in conducting experiments for failure analysis and root cause analysis.
  • Recommend additional equipment needs for product debug areas to leadership or Test Engineers.
  • Participate in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen continuous improvement activities.
  • Comply with all company security policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Work on problems of limited scope by following standard practices and procedures, building stable internal relationships.
  • Learn and apply professional concepts, company policies, and procedures to resolve routine issues.
  • Receive detailed instructions on all work.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in soldering and assembly of electrical components.
  • Understanding of electrical engineering principles.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics.
  • Experience with PCB testing and design.
  • Familiarity with using oscilloscopes and test equipment.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience soldering on PCBs.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience testing PCBs.
  • Possession of an AAS or BSEE with an interest in technical work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with soldering and testing electronics.
  • Proficiency with basic hand and power tools.

Work Environment

This position is based on-site in a manufacturing setting located in Winona. The work environment is collaborative and supportive, ensuring that all team members have the resources they need to succeed

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.10/hr.
