Theapplicantwill join an existingteam that is performing translational research studies focusing on myocardial biology and preclinical pharmacologyUnder the supervision of a senior lab scientist, lab manager and PI, this individual will peform well-defined experiments using existing platforms employing heart tissue slices.Experiments will include assessments of contractile function, tissue structure and molecular readouts.This individual will assist with the analysis of the data generated from myocardial slices and engineered heart tissues. Some prior research laboratory experience is required and experience with cell or tissue culture techniques is preferred.
