Organizers are expected to represent North Shore Strategies and the campaign professionally in the field, with voters, volunteers, staff, and community partners.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Support daily field operations, including canvassing, volunteer recruitment, voter contact, visibility, and community outreach.
  • Recruit, train, and manage volunteers and canvassers as needed.
  • Conduct in-person voter outreach through door-to-door canvassing, community events, and other field tactics.
  • Help launch, monitor, and close out field shifts.
  • Ensure canvassers and volunteers understand campaign messaging, turf, reporting expectations, and field procedures.
  • Track daily progress toward voter contact, volunteer recruitment, and field goals.
  • Submit accurate daily reports to the Organizing Director.
  • Help identify issues in the field and communicate them quickly to campaign leadership.
  • Represent North Shore Strategies with professionalism, reliability, and integrity in all public interactions.
  • Attend required trainings, staff meetings, and check-ins to stay aligned with campaign strategy.
  • Build positive relationships with voters, volunteers, community members, and local stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Prior campaign, organizing, canvassing, volunteer management, labor, advocacy, or community outreach experience preferred.
  • Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
  • A valid driverโ€™s license and access to reliable transportation are preferred.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and comfort engaging with voters, volunteers, and community members.
  • Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Willing and able to canvass outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially with reporting, data collection, and follow-through.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work toward measurable goals.
  • A valid driverโ€™s license and access to reliable transportation are preferred.
  • Commitment to electing Democrats and supporting Democratic campaigns.
What We Offer
  • $3,500 โ€“ $5,000 per month, commensurate with experience.
