Accounting Specialist (Temp-to-Hire, Full-time Hours) Company: SumBridge (Hiring for our Seattle-Based Client) Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid once trained) Job Type: Temp-to-Hire (Contract-to-Hire) Schedule: Full-Time (Approx. 40 hours/week) Overview SumBridge is partnering with a Seattle-based client to hire a Full-Time Accounting Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This role supports accounting and administrative functions across two affiliated companies and is ideal for candidates with experience in Accounts Payable (AP), bookkeeping, and accounting systems. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking a full-time accounting role with the potential to transition into a full-time, permanent position. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable (AP) (invoice entry, coding, vendor payments)
  • Enter and maintain sales estimates within the ERP system (NetSuite)
  • Own and manage corporate credit card reconciliations, including tracking receipts
  • Assist with monthly 1099 contractor payments and crew settlement processes
  • Maintain accurate financial records and accounting data entry
  • Provide general office and administrative support as needed
  • Support HR administrative tasks, including onboarding paperwork and issuing contracts
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or Accounts Payable
  • Experience with ERP systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or similar)
  • Strong knowledge of AP processes, reconciliations, and expense tracking
  • Experience with 1099 processing and contractor payments preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred Background
  • Accounting Specialist / Bookkeeper / AP Specialist / Staff Accountant
  • Experience supporting multiple entities or companies
