Job Title: Data Entry Specialist - Timekeeping
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Location: Elma, NY 14059
Schedule: 1st Shift
Key Responsibilities
• Accurately enter and update employee leave balances in the timekeeping system
• Review, validate, and audit timekeeping data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in time entries in coordination with employees, supervisors, HR, and payroll teams
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date attendance and absence records
• Generate and distribute timekeeping and attendance reports as required
• Ensure confidentiality of sensitive employee and payroll information
• Follow established procedures and support continuous improvement in timekeeping processes
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in data entry, payroll, or timekeeping preferred
• Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in data processing
• Experience with timekeeping/payroll systems such as Workday, Kronos, ADP, or similar
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Basic understanding of payroll processes and labor laws is a plus
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
