At-Home Data Collector

Tech Research Studies is a division of Robotic Data (FKA Voxelmaps), dedicated to gathering valuable user insights that drive technological innovation. With a focus on user experience and emerging technology, Tech Research Studies conducts research that helps refine and enhance products before they reach the market. Participants engage in structured discussions, hands-on testing, and direct interaction with new technology, ensuring that companies receive real-world perspectives from diverse users. By bridging the gap between consumers and developers, Tech Research Studies plays a critical role in shaping the future of technology. The research conducted in this division informs design, usability, and market readiness, allowing companies to make data-driven decisions based on firsthand user experiences.

We are hiring people across Mexico to record first-person video while completing everyday activities in their own homes. Required schedule:

  • This position requires completing seven hours of video collection and one hour of data review and upload each workday. All eight hours are paid.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect seven hours of first-person video each day.
  • Record approved household activities such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, organizing, pet care, gardening, and basic maintenance.
  • Follow recording, privacy, and safety instructions.
  • Check and securely upload recordings during the final hour.

Requirements:

  • At least 18 years old and living in Mexico.
  • Comfortable using a smartphone (SEE BELOW APPROVED PHONES).
  • Reliable internet.
  • No previous experience required.

Approved phones:

  • iPhone: 12–17 series, excluding 16e and 17e
  • Google Pixel: 6–9, including Pro models
  • Samsung Galaxy: S21–S24, including Plus and Ultra models

***NOTE***: Only approved at-home activities may be recorded. A list of approved activities will be provided during training. Recordings must NOT include minors, individuals who have not provided consent, or any private, confidential, or sensitive information.
