Therapy and Learning Center of Georgia is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician to provide Applied Behavior Analysis services to a child in the Gainesville, Georgia area. This position is primarily intended to support an in-home ABA client in Gainesville, GA in the zip code 30506 area, with services anticipated to begin May 1st.


If the selected candidate is hired before the Gainesville services begin, they may initially be assigned to work at our Northmeadow clinic in Roswell, Georgia at 1329 Northmeadow Pkwy, Roswell, GA 30076 until the Gainesville in-home assignment begins. Candidates should be willing and able to work temporarily in the Roswell clinic, if needed, and then transition to the Gainesville in-home assignment.


Full-time and part-time opportunities may be available based on client needs, candidate availability, and scheduling requirements.


Position Summary


The Registered Behavior Technician provides direct Applied Behavior Analysis services by implementing treatment programs and behavior-reduction procedures developed by the supervising clinician. This role requires accurate data collection, timely documentation, ethical conduct, professionalism, and a commitment to supporting client safety, dignity, and progress.


Services may be provided in the client’s home, clinic, school, or other approved settings as assigned.


Essential Functions

  • Implement individualized skill-acquisition programs and behavior intervention procedures as written by the supervising clinician.
  • Collect accurate behavioral and skill-acquisition data, including frequency, duration, latency, trials, prompting levels, and other required data points.
  • Enter data and complete documentation according to company expectations.
  • Complete daily session notes and required documentation in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain client dignity, confidentiality, and professional boundaries at all times.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, clinical protocols, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Participate in ongoing supervision and training.
  • Implement feedback from the supervising clinician in a timely manner.
  • Communicate session progress, barriers to implementation, parent/caregiver concerns, and safety concerns promptly to the supervising clinician and leadership.
  • Use proactive strategies, reinforcement procedures, and approved behavior support techniques to support safe and therapeutic sessions.
  • Provide services in clinic, home, school, or community settings as assigned.
  • Maintain professionalism and appropriate boundaries in all service environments.


Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Active Registered Behavior Technician certification in good standing.
  • Ability to pass required background checks and meet onboarding requirements.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to assigned work locations, including Gainesville and, if needed, the Northmeadow clinic in Roswell.
  • Ability to provide in-home ABA services in a professional and confidential manner.
  • Basic computer skills for electronic data collection and documentation.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding client, family, and company information.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience providing ABA services in home, school, clinic, or community-based settings.
  • Experience working with children with autism or other developmental needs.
  • Experience with electronic data collection systems and clinical documentation.
  • Strong communication, reliability, and professionalism.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work with children across developmental levels and behavior needs in varied settings.
  • Ability to sit, stand, kneel, bend, and engage in floor-based activities.
  • Ability to respond quickly to maintain client safety.
  • Ability to lift or move items up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to provide physical support only as trained, approved, and permitted.

Compliance and Professional Standards

The Registered Behavior Technician follows all company policies, confidentiality requirements, documentation standards, and clinical supervision requirements.

The RBT implements programs as written and escalates clinical questions to the supervising clinician. The RBT does not independently modify treatment plans, behavior intervention plans, or clinical programming.


Location

Primary assignment: In-home ABA services in the Gainesville, Georgia area.

Possible initial temporary assignment: 1329 Northmeadow Parkway, Roswell, Georgia 30076, if hired before the Gainesville client’s services begin.
