Job Description
A mission-driven nonprofit organization is seeking a Temporary Data Entry Specialist to support a critical database and systems migration initiative. This six-month contract role will be responsible for accurately entering, validating, cleansing, and transferring data between legacy systems and a new platform while ensuring data integrity throughout the migration process. This position will work closely with the donor and contributions teams to ensure donor data is successful and accurately transferred, as well as providing confirmations, receipts, and donor letters to new participants.
Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter, update, and maintain data within NetSuite and other organizational systems.
  • Support database and system migration activities, including data extraction, validation, cleansing, and reconciliation.
  • Review records for completeness and accuracy, identifying and correcting discrepancies as needed.
  • Perform quality assurance checks to ensure data integrity before, during, and after migration activities.
  • Maintain documentation related to data migration processes, procedures, and updates.
  • Collaborate with business users and project team members to resolve data-related issues.
  • Assist with testing migrated data and validating system outputs.
  • Generate reports and perform basic analysis to support migration efforts and project tracking.
  • Adhere to confidentiality and data governance standards, particularly regarding donor, constituent, and organizational information.
  • Complete assigned tasks within established timelines and project milestones.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in data entry, database administration support, or records management.
  • Experience working with NetSuite, including data maintenance and record management.
  • Proven experience supporting database conversions, system implementations, or data migration projects.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including sorting, filtering, data validation, and basic formulas.
  • Ability to manage large volumes of information while maintaining data quality.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with donor management, fundraising, membership, or CRM platforms.

Pay: $22 to $24/hour
Contract duration: Six months
Hours: 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
