Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience working in skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care settings preferred.
  • Current experience with documentation systems commonly used in SNFs preferred.
  • Ability to provide physical therapy services for geriatric populations, including fall prevention, balance training, and ADL retraining preferred.
