Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Regulatory Coordinator to join our team, specializing in label development and regulatory review for dietary supplements. This role is critical in ensuring that all labeling, marketing materials, and website content complies with applicable FDA, FTC, and other regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience reviewing product labels and a solid understanding of the regulatory frameworks governing dietary supplements and/or cosmetics.
This is a collaborative position that works cross-functionally with departments such as Marketing, Graphic Design, Product Development, and Laboratory/R&D. We value precision, initiative, and a proactive mindset in ensuring that our product communications are compliant, clear, and compelling.
Responsibilities:
  • Review and approve product labels to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Draft and update product manuscripts, incorporating Supplement Facts/ingredient panels, usage directions, allergen declarations, and compliant marketing statements.
  • Maintain and revise manuscripts in response to product reformulations, ingredient substitutions, and marketing updates.
  • Work through regulatory changes, temporary deviations, and permanent product modifications, and communicate these updates internally and externally as needed.
  • Support the development of compliant labels for new products and revisions for existing items in coordination with Marketing and Wholesale
  • Proofread and verify the accuracy of labeling for spelling, grammar, formatting, and branding consistency.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Biology, Regulatory Affairs, or a related scientific discipline (preferred but not required with relevant experience).
  • Prior experience in regulatory compliance within an FDA-regulated industry, specifically in dietary supplements, food, beverages, or cosmetics.
  • Working knowledge of DSHEA, CFR, FDA labeling guidance, and other applicable federal and state regulations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organization, with strong follow-up and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and in cross-departmentally
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
