Job description

Client Overview
Our client is a rapidly growing contract manufacturer specializing in the development, formulation, and production of products for cosmetics, personal care, and OTC spaces. They provide end-to-end solutions, partnering with leading brands, retailers, and distributors to bring innovative products from concept through commercialization in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Our client is seeking an R&D Regulatory Specialist (Cosmetics) to join their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate
$25/hr
Position Overview
The R&D Regulatory Specialist (Cosmetics) will support the Research & Innovation team. This role is responsible for managing technical documentation, formula records, product registrations, stability reports, and cross-functional coordination to ensure accurate and timely support of product development activities.
Responsibilities Of The R&D Regulatory Specialist (Cosmetics)
  • Maintain and prepare technical documentation for the R&D team.
  • Manage product registrations and formula submissions.
  • Create and maintain formula compositions, ingredient lists, and documentation for customer requests, label claims, and artwork reviews.
  • Generate stability summary reports and maintain documentation within SharePoint.
  • Develop and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) in collaboration with production and other departments.
Required Experience/Skills For The R&D Regulatory Specialist (Cosmetics)
  • Regulatory experience within the cosmetics or personal care industry.
  • Knowledge of product registration systems, formula documentation, or BOM management.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
Preferred Experience/Skills For The R&D Regulatory Specialist (Cosmetics)
  • Experience with SharePoint and ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with hazardous goods shipping documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
