Medical Device Assembler – Packaging
Job Type: Full-Time, Contract-to-Hire

Pay & Schedule:

  • 1st Shift: $19–$20/hr | Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: $19–$21/hr | Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM–2:00 AM

Position Summary

A leading medical device manufacturer in Irvine is seeking detail-oriented Medical Device Assemblers – Packaging to join their team. This position performs precision assembly, inspection, and packaging of medical devices in a cleanroom environment. The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to consistently produce high-quality work while following detailed procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, inspect, and package medical device products according to specifications and procedures.
  • Follow SOPs, work instructions, engineering drawings, and inspection procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with FDA, GMP, EN ISO 13485, quality, and safety requirements.
  • Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
  • Learn and perform new processes and equipment efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Meet production requirements while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • 6+ months of recent manufacturing experience required.
  • Medical device manufacturing experience preferred; 2+ years is highly desirable.
  • Experience in an FDA, GMP, or ISO-regulated environment is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to learn new processes quickly and work consistently in a quality-focused environment.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Work is performed in a cleanroom, laboratory, and warehouse environment. Employees may sit or stand for extended periods and frequently walk, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Close and color vision are required for detailed inspection work. Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds and wear required PPE is necessary
