Job description

Prime Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Endoscopy for a travel nursing job in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Registered Nurse – Endoscopy

Albuquerque, NE 
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure nursing care in the endoscopy unit.
  • Assist with GI procedures including colonoscopy and EGD.
  • Administer and monitor conscious sedation during procedures.
  • Start IVs, administer medications, and monitor patient recovery.
  • Handle specimen collection, labeling, and documentation.
  • Float between endoscopy units as needed.
  • Support extended cases when procedures run beyond scheduled hours.
Required Skills
  • Minimum 1 year of recent RN endoscopy experience.
  • Strong experience with patient admission, conscious sedation, and recovery.
  • Experience with colonoscopy and EGD procedures.
  • IV insertion, specimen handling, and medication administration.
  • Cardiac rhythm monitoring and patient assessment.
  • Experience with Cerner charting preferred.
