Job description


CAD Designer - Chemical Process & Mechanical/Piping Experience
Location: Medina, Ohio
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Compensation: $30,000-$40,000 annually (based on experience)
Are you passionate about design and engineering? Do you have a strong background in chemical processes and mechanical/piping systems? We're looking for a CAD Designer to join our team and play a key role in creating precise, innovative designs that support complex industrial projects.
What You'll Do:
  • Develop and modify detailed CAD drawings for chemical process systems, piping layouts, and mechanical components.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet technical specifications and safety standards.
  • Interpret process flow diagrams and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Assist in troubleshooting design challenges and optimizing layouts for efficiency and reliability.

Job Requirements
