Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Temporary Research Assistant within Radiation Oncology at the Rutgers Cancer Institute.
Under the direction of the Principal Investigator or designee, the Temporary Research Assistant will assist in research on the lab grant deliverables. The incumbent will review, provide quality control, and analyze study data.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
  • Works under the direction of the PI or his/her designee. Responsible for executing laboratory tasks as outlined by the Principal Investigator or a senior member of laboratory team.
  • Performs functions as directed for experiments that are proposed in the grant, under the direction of the principal investigator and other designated lab members.
  • Maintains department database on a computer. Candidate must have competent computer skills and be able to utilize equipment and technology in support of the assigned project(s).
  • Must possess effective oral and written communication skills and ability to summarize scientific research process and communicate project findings.
