Position Description
Primary Purpose and Essential Functions
The instructional faculty will provide curriculum delivery in an area of expertise outlined by their education.
The successful instructional faculty candidate will be part of a highly motivated, cohesive faculty of experienced educators working as an interdisciplinary team to deliver a comprehensive PA curriculum preparing students to practice in a variety of clinical settings.
The successful candidate will collaborate with other PA faculty members within the program to provide expertise and contribute to a collaborative working environment. This position will report directly to the Program Director.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a medical or related field applicable to PA practice.
  • PA applicants must be eligible for CA state licensure and have current NCCPA certification.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, specifically MS Office Suite Programs (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and MS Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior teaching experience.
  • Six (6) months of experience in the master's degree discipline.
  • Ability to work as a team with administrators, faculty, staff, and students.
  • Experience working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  • Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting.
  • Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.

Work Environment/Work Week/Travel:
This position is for a per diem teacher-clinician position, up to one (1) day per week, forty-eight (48) weeks per year.
Hiring Range
$55.00 - $65.00 per hour. We consider factors such as, but not limited to, scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's qualifications, internal equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
