Chemistry Masters - AI Data Trainer
About the Role
We're looking for chemistry experts to help train and improve the next generation of AI models. At Alignerr, we partner with the world's leading AI research labs - and we need people who think rigorously about chemistry to help these systems reason better, solve harder problems, and produce more accurate results.
If you have a Master's in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related field, your knowledge is exactly what's needed. No AI background required.

  • What You'll Do
    • Design advanced chemistry problems across domains such as chemical engineering, biochemistry, organic chemistry, and thermodynamics to challenge and evaluate AI performance
    • Develop clear, rigorous, step-by-step solutions that demonstrate strong scientific reasoning
    • Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, logical consistency, and depth of understanding
    • Collaborate with researchers to develop and refine benchmarks spanning undergraduate to Master's-level chemistry topics
    • Provide structured, high-quality feedback that directly improves how AI models handle complex scientific content
    Who You Are
    • Currently pursuing or have completed a Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a closely related field
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across advanced chemistry domains
    • Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and precisely in writing
    • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently
    • No prior AI or data annotation experience required
    Nice to Have
    • Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or academic research
    • Familiarity with AI tools or large language models
