Position Summary
Machine Operator
Responsibilities
Operate & set up both large coil fed presses as well as smaller hand-fed press, use and set-up of assembly machines, etc. Perform simple, dexterous operation with hands, load and unload brazing furnaces, operate tapping equipment, drill presses, CNC machines, crimping machines, etc.
Additionally, teammates may perform incoming, in-process or final inspection as detailed in the appropriate work instructions; and/or label, weigh, perform data entry duties, deliver product from storage locations to a specific machinery or rack locations.
Teammates fill out daily reports such as labor cards, waste and defective reports, machine down time reports, SPC data collection, and any other prescribed by management.
To manage these duties, teammates lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly in a safe manner, observe all other safety regulations and rules, and are responsible to keep their work area neat and clean.
Minimum Qualifications
Typically requires a high school degree; or 1-2 year vocational training / associates degree
