Job description

Are you an experienced Cannabis Trimmer with an exceptional work ethic, who thrives on quickly but precisely trimming quality cannabis flower and is consistently able to arrive on time ready to give 100%? If so, Viridian Staffing's Client is looking for Temporary Cannabis Trimmers to work at their production facility located approximately 20 miles northeast of the Modesto, California, area. Hours are 6 am - 2:30 pm Monday - Friday. For workers who do a great job, there may be the potential for this to turn into a permanent opportunity.

Founded in 2013, Viridian Staffing (www.viridianstaffing.com) is the Original staffing, recruiting, and HR consulting firm solely dedicated to organizations in and supporting the commercial, medical, and industrial cannabis / hemp industry.

Your duties will include everything from grading, sorting, weighing and logging harvested flower material to using your exceptional attention to detail for trimming flower and precisely measuring product. You will also be responsible for maintaining a sanitary work environment and following all safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Ability and proven experience trimming at least 2 pounds (ideally closer to 3 pounds) of quality dry cannabis flower during an 8-hour workday
  • Ability to stand, sit, climb, twist, and kneel up to 8 hours/day
  • Ability and experience with performing repetitive movements with your hands up to 8 hours/day
  • Ability to work in climates with varying temperatures
  • Attention to detail
  • Willingness to take direction
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Proven work ethic and reliable transportation
  • Ability to arrive on time
  • Ability to wear an N95 mask while around cannabis product, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to be around plant pollen for an 8-hour period of time, with or without reasonable accommodation

California State Law requires anyone working for a licensed cannabis company to be 21 years of age or older. Must be eligible to work for a licensed cannabis company in the State of California.

Pay: $19.00/hour
