Teacher Summer Job Youth Baseball & Softball Camp Coach ($23.50/hr) | 4S Ranch

Teachers and coaches with summers off are invited to join Padres Baseball & Softball Camps in 4S Ranch.We are hiring energetic staff members to work with campers ages 413, helping them develop baseball and softball skills while learning teamwork, confidence, and sportsmanship.

Position Overview

As a Padres Camps Coach or Camp Educator, you will guide campers through daily activities focused on baseball and softball skill development.

Camp staff help create a supportive environment where young players can improve their athletic skills while learning teamwork, accountability, and sportsmanship.

Staff work closely with Site Directors and fellow team members to ensure campers have a safe, engaging, and memorable camp experience.

Core Responsibilities
  • Lead campers through baseball and softball drills and games
  • Teach and reinforce fundamental skills such as throwing, hitting, and fielding
  • Maintain a safe and organized camp environment
  • Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive behavior
  • Provide encouragement and feedback during drills and gameplay
  • Recognize teachable moments to help campers grow both athletically and personally
  • Work collaboratively with fellow camp staff and leadership
What Were Looking For

Successful candidates typically:

  • Have experience working with children ages 413
  • Are comfortable demonstrating baseball or softball fundamentals
  • Bring enthusiasm, leadership, and positive energy
  • Able to make a 35 week commitment
  • Have reliable transportation to travel to their assigned camp location
  • All hires must pass a background screening
